I don't see any specs till the first box of Polearm - What weapon do I use to get there?

wooden staff


I don't remember for sure, but maybe metal staff and reinforced staff as well.

or a heavy axe, which i used for the shear damage it did.

Heavy axe is not a polearm though. You would use that for 2h swords.
