Hello all -

I'm a master pikeman on Wanderhome and was looking at the melee/ranged defense modifiers in the TKA precision tree. It seems that I could increase my pike's defenses by training these skills. Has anyone yet done this and can anyone provide the effectiveness of these modifiers? Is it worth the effort?

I am workin on master TKA/Fencer/Pikeman now....

77 melee defense

62 ranged defense

25 dodge

20 block

80 knockdown

100 posture change

119 toughnes 57 TKA/ 36 Fencer/ 26 Pikeman

85 bat equalibrium

30 blind

40 stun

45 intimidate

and 10 to alerness.

The Devs said they are possibly going to make stats non stackable. This is partly because of Carbineer/ BH.

I have 0003 TKA with master pikeman(25k combat exp from 0004 TKA).the Melee/Ranged defensehelps against someone with a low chance to hit, they will miss a lot. It doesn't help against a BH that has also trained pistol because they will have such high accuracy your defense wont make much of a difference.

So, extra defense is great when fighting something lower level. It is not much help when fighting something high level with already high accuracy.

That's what I have noticed.
