I just got this last night, and I'll be honest I'm havin a lot of fun with my toon. I read these boards often enough to see there's issues with the Class, but honestly I enjoy being a "rare" Class. A lot of TKA out there and I'm happy for em, but the game does offer some more exotic fighting styles and well... that's us

I played a Ranger in EQ and in the early stages of the Class no one wanted to play a Ranger because it had so many issues. Now it's an uber damage dealer out damaging entire groups if you have the skill. I'm keeping the faith with Pike for now. I did for Ranger and it really paid off. The Pikemen community is pretty sharp I'm sure it will work out in the end.

Congrats. I had a gnome cleric in EQ back at the very beginning.. I couldnt even begin to tell you the levels of crappiness that character was. : P Twas fun tho.. very fun. I think thats what pikemen more is. Ive been having pretty fun with the class. But that may just be because I've already mastered BE.... what a long and boring road that was. lol.
