Depends on your definition of working. Through log parsing, I think I'm actually taking MORE damage from tuoghness now -_-

Has anybody actually experienced Toughness working? The other day, I noticed that my armor was at 0 durability. Naturally enough, I took the stuff off and continued fighting. Over the course of several missions, I started noticing something- the amount of damage I took (i.e. the numbers floating over my head) exactly matched the amount of damage displayed in the combat spam.

Now, I believe I have a toughness of about 22 (I'm at work, so I can't be certain). I was expecting to see some reduction in the damage I was taking. Am I correct in thinking that, if Toughness does indeed reduce damage, that I should see some difference between the combat spam and the numbers floating over my head? Or does the number in the combat spam already take into account your Toughness modifier?

hmm good point, now that I think about it...I haven't noticed a reduction in damage dealt to me either!!

Considering that toughness is specific to each melee class, it is very possible that only "Polearm Toughness" modifiers may be broken. I don't know for sure, but I'm going to test this when I get home.

And now for a shameless bump...

So does anyone know how this is supposed to work?
