New Move: Immobolizer!
The anti-kite technique (without disabling the enemies ability to attack). The highly trained pikeman has knowledge of how to immobolize his enemy by stunning their legs. This technique prevents enemies from escaping, however it does not prevent them from attacking.
New Move: Final Strike
This technique is rarely used by pikeman except in situations of extreme desperation. This attack deals a great amount of damage to the enemy, often incapacitating them, if not killing them, with one swift blow; however, it's costs to the user are great. The pikeman who performs this technique suffers severe damage to his ham and can even incapacitate himself in doing so (none of this not enough ham crap for this move. If you don't have enough ham you incap yourself!). This is a move not to be taken lightly, either by the pikeman or his enemy.
New Weapon: Mounted Lance
A weapon designed especially for mounted combat. It has a much greater reach than most melee weapons and it used primarily to dismount an enemy or take out his mount. Because of its size, it is not practical to perform special moves with it(HAM costs in the 200's for each pool). However it does great damage, has a much farther reach, and can dismount enemies.
Hey now were cookin...
BTW - a shockwave is totally Star Warsy. Opening scene, stormtrooper stuns Princess. Same deal, no gun involved, only a pike. Send it through the ground, not the air. Similar to surveying.
Once again, it is Friday. Time for me to muse on what could be...please feel free to add your wishes and wants to mine. Please no gripping about HAMs etc...we get enough of that. This is for creativity sake.
New Move - You run, You die
Since two of our weapons are electric, lets capitalize on that. Bad guy pulls a gun (gee, that never happens) and runs away. Pikeman smirks knowingly (optional). Pikeman preforms an overhead chop, sinking the axe into the ground. This produces a tremendous shockwave, which momentarily stuns all within the affected area (except the pikeman, cause we are rubber, you are glue...). Bad guy is forced to stand or kneel, or thrash wildly on the ground. We run up and introduce this kiter to the business end of the Pike. Hopefully we don't miss, as that would be embarassing. Cost: Pikemen must now carry a supply of batteries with which to power up the pike. Battery runs out, weapon switches to kinetic only damage. Perhaps we get a wicked resist to electricity (wouldn't that tick off the LLC boys).
New Weapon - Bec de Corbin(shamelessly pilfered from AD&D, Complete Fighters Handbook)
Also called the bec de faucon, the names mean "crow's beak" and "falcon's beak" respectively. This pole weapon has a hook much like a bird's beak and is ideal for cutting open armor like some great can opener. The weapon also has a hammer or axe side that delivers a solid hit. This is a highly specialized weapon, designed for the purpose of cutting armor then striking the now unarmored victim with the other side of the weapon. The pole shaft is eight feet long.
New Weapon - vibro double blade (Glaive)
This deadly weapon, sometimes referred to as an 'echani-nata', consists of a long hilt concealing twin retractable vibro-blades. The blades are depicted as being capable of slashing through impervium armor and human / alien flesh with ease. The blades of the Glaive are also shown to be capable of withstanding / blocking blaster fire from weapons as heavy as the BlasTech DLT - 19 rifle.

Now that is one cool pike.
Can I have one please? Maybe two, since they are likely going to be difficult to find. ![]()
