Should a master of any elite profession be given a certification for a special weapon? Perhaps the weapon can be gotten via a series of quests. In fact instead of the weapon itself perhaps pieces of the weapon and pieces that help unlock other parts of the quest.

This weapon would then be put together by a weaponsmith from the components gathered by the questing player. Perhaps some of the components could even be put together by the questing player too.

Now that i think about it,.......... this sounds like the epic quests in EQ, lol. Anyway i still think it would add alot of content and ppl would now have something to focus on.

Ok, here is the weapon that master Pikeman should have:

It's a long polearm weapon. Now, what is on either end is up for debate, but both ends should do different types of dmg, and have different dmg stats. And the ends should be customizable (like you could switch what kind of end was on either side at any time). So you could have Mace, Spear, Explosive, ect, type ends.

But that is not the cool part of this weapon. This weapon comes apart in the middle and the two halfs are connected by a chain. At master Pikeman you could do an area attack that was 360 degrees with a 30 meter range. Oh, and it's an area bleed as well.

But that is not all, you could also do a single attack with a 30 meter range doing massive dmg, and causing bleeding, KD, or both.

I think that this idea doesn't belong in the wishlist thread. This idea belongs in the 'Neverhappeninamillionyearsandevenifitdiditwouldbenerfedfasterthanyoucouldblink' thread.

Cool ideas. Ain't gonna happen.
