Hello, First Off.

I have a few questions. I have always thought it cool to be a pikeman, I thought they had some very cool looking attacks, but I heard/read that they are a terrible class in need of major overhaul. But I was just skipping around threw your forum last night and saw that you all can take Many Rancors, NightSisters, and other high level Mobs. I though, how can a sucky class do this? So did you all get a fix? I am a Complete nOOb to this class. So any advice, answers and just what you can/cannot due and basic status of the class.

PS: My original Idea was Master Commando/TKM/Medic, but if Pikeman is not broken I would love to be (and I know its way diferrent, lol)

PvE we are not bad at all, we can be quite good especially as a doctor/pikeman or ch/pikeman.

pvp is where we have NO power in heh. that pretty much sums it up read the FAQs and other stickyd threads in this forums

Is it worth going up in? I am am mainly a PVE kinda person. Like is it the more powerful class, being able to do the NS places and such? Or can a TKM do the same? Just do not want to start something that is regrettable. I think M Pikeman would be sweet, just need to know more, and thanks.

TKM is still better *grumble* but Pikeman is funner

we are fine when we suppliment our class with other melee professions

but people who are non melee except tkm master etc are still better but can also do other stuff

So if I was a TKM/M. Pikeman/M. Brawler/Medic I would have no problem, taking NS or anything for that matter except Kimos and Krayts solo? Is that about right? And if anyone has a goodoverview on Pikeman I would like that, thanks.

you will always have problems if you don't know how to handle yourself. If you do know how, thne you can do about anything, with about any proffesion. It is just that some proffesions do all the work for you and others need...support....pikeman is one of those proffesions.

Plus the animation on PoleHit3 is worth pulling into third person mode and just watching.
