Pikeman Archive

Hey,
any suggestions on what would be good armor for pikeman? I only have a few pieces, but the encumbrances are NOT fun. Having a hard time finding armor that will protect me, but not kill me from wearing it. Anyone on Kauri that can sell me some good armor?

Get some advanced ubese. Reasonable encumbrance, 70+% kinetic resists. Up until a few weeks ago, it wasn't difficult to find 74% kinetic ubese on Kauri, but now the resources required have dwindled, so it's more difficult to find . Try out Hond or Jarn. You won't be finding any on a vendor, most likely.

I've found that low encumbrance composite works great for most use, and high kinetic Ubese is great for grinding xp off creatures. I'm a master doc as well, so I buff myself and the encumbrance isn't an issue for the most part.. though my 80% kinetic composite wrecks havoc on my mind stats. I'd stick with the low enc. stuff with around 55-60% resists across the board for PvP and combat against NPCs, and kinetic ubese for creature killing.

Kewl, I'll look up Hond and Jarn today. It's definitely the encumbrance that's killing me. If I could find a low enough enc. that won't drop my quickness down to 2 on a full set I'd be exstatic!
