Pikeman Archive

Hello all.

I remade my toon after deciding that there is no way I could ever finish the holo-grind, and once that decision was made I couldn't even look at the character any more... luckily I have a RL friend from work that plays, so I was able to transfer my credits and a few other nick nacks.

In any case, I decided to make a character that is fun for PvE and not a FoTM(well, not AS much as say a rifleman/cm or rifleman/TKA, etc etc). I had to try the new Wookie armor, so I made a Wook that will become a Master Pikeman, with about two trees in carb for runners and the AoE KD, along with some TKA for power boost/meditate and Fencer 0/4/4/0 for defense(okay, so a little unique with some FoTM on the side).

I am only 3rd tier under Pikeman brawler, and was just wondering when I should go fight the Quenkers(sp?). I have some good food buffs, and could probably afford Dr buffs about five times before having empty pockets, so I don't want to go there too late. I would imagine I should go once I hit novice, unless it would be safe for me now, or is it even safe at novice?

If you can use the LVA then I would suggest quenker/savage quenkers. Remember to get the fastest LVA/VLs you can get. I've found that it's been kind of a drawl spinning on lairs... once the speed line is done I'm sure it'll be a lot better. My LVA is 3.4 speed so things go pretty well. Also, the VL should seriously be considered due to quenker resistances and the better accuracy, but then again the LVA medium piercing puts them about on par in my opinion. An LVA sliced for speed is probly better for lair spinning later on once u get speed though I'm assuming.

But yeah, I digress, I went to dant with Pike I in brawler and got 0/0/1/1 in my 3 hour doc buff time, and I even went to Jack in the Box for an hour in the middle of it
