Well my friend who is a master pikeman (as i aspire to be) recently found a pretty good LVA he looted off of a Night sister. cant remember the exact stats (some where around 200-650 damage with an action disease) but it wasnt a bad pike by any means. when he tries to repair it, it broke

i was hopeing that some of the vets in this forum could perhaps share some of their failures with repairing, so our pain may be eased

Urixz- The pikeman that doesnt want/need/use (pick one) a decent DoT

I bought 80% Kinetic 56% Base and xx stun layer composite and beign the retard that I am I tried to repair the chestpiecemyself after a night of pvp.

I think you can guess where this is going.

I had a set of 75% kinetic composite that was so light i could wear the whole thing without buffs. (some stat migration, yes, but NOT MUCH) It was a gret set of armor. Crit failed repair on the chestplate, helm and boots all in a row. Grr.

And yesterday I had a marginal repir on a 153-628/2.8 LVA, down to 495 max condition. Not too bad, but i had just paid alot for it. Why don't peopel repair stuff before they auction it? =( Anyway I got a 25% damage slice on it so it helped ease the pain. 195-783/2.8 not too bad.

I'm getting ready to repair a few LVAs: 766, 903, and 985 max dmg. I'm scared to death.

hehe, as long as you don't do it yourself, find the WS with the most tapes and the most voodoo. :-) Just remember the longer you wait, the higher chance of failure.

I have yet to get my hands on any long vibro axes of that calibre....

The first long vibro axe i ever had got destroyed on it's first repair.

Also....

I have bought 6 sets of armor with the hope of getting encumbrance slices.

Out of the three main peices on each set, 18 peices total. I own ONE encumbrance sliced helmet.

But, the three sheild generators i have bought seem to have no problem with it, becouse all three were sliced for encumbrance. and for those of you who don't know. they have 0/0/0 encumbrance, and any slice makes them...0/0/0....
