Old- Master pikeman/Doc 4440/ Tkm 0003

New- Master Pike/Doc 4440/Scout 3030

New one gives me terrain negotiation, and a good way to make funds, and get supplies for my chef... and I'm probably the best if not top 3 PvPers on Bloodfin.

Im master swords atm, but im doing to much PvP and dungeons atm to level my pike, its 2xx4 atm,

should be good in both PvP and PvE that template.

I was thinking of building this template out:

Master Pikeman / Master Brawler /Fencer 4,4,0,0 / Swordsman 0,4,0,0 / TKA 4,0,0,3 / and either Scout 3,0,0,0 or Medic 0,0,3,0

I know there is alot of Defense stacking in this template, but I was a BH so, I'm not used to having any Defense what-so-ever

I also used to like the idea of being able to target all HAM pools as a BH. That is why I want to dabble in Fencer (Health) and Swordsman (Mind). TKA meditation line for Power Boost, Meditation, and FoW. Scout exploration line for terrain negoatiation and longer burst-run ( I was thinking of buying crates of Parwan Cake to help track down the ranged profs while being kited :smileyhappy

Would it be a better idea to take the Medic line though?

Any template like this that combines doc/pikeman will be the best for pvp. I can do alright as rifle/pike, but no amount of defense stacking will save you from a cm, only doctor can do that, and if you plan on pvp'ing a lot, then plan on facing a lot of cm's.

How do you guys deal damage in PvP, besides poisons? Im M Carbineer/ M pikeman and I PvP with my carbines 85% of the time. The big problem Ive noticed with pikeman is the spread on the weapons is so huge and the min damage is so low that any attack is destroyed by melee mitigation 3. Please enlighten me on how pikemen are so uber in PvP.

To be good at PvP with a pike, you need more combat professions. Either get some TK or Fencer (or both).

Pikemans defenses are way too low to try to PvP with it. You need something to buff it up.

The only good PvP template that involves Doc, is one that includes CM as well.

wow this is funny as hell i almost pissed my pants man....i need to show you my pikes no wait, mesk needs to show you his pikes you obviously havent been to bloodfin pikeman doc with atleast 2 good dots owns 80% of people in duels easily my only weakness is when i get dizzy/kd

and a rifleman in my guild with an uber jawa did 18 damage to me with synthsteak and a PSG on so dont tell me you need defenses to pvp...guess Ahazi hasnt heard of "stun layer technology" and synthsteak yet..

yeah thats my template except without the hunting part probably one of the top 10 here on bloodfin in duels that is

4440 Doctor is a bit wasteful, but nessecary if you don't have a buffbot follow you around like some.

I am currently a Master Pikeman / Master WS and working on climbing the trickshotbranch in the pistoleer tree to enhance my defenses until the combat balance. I have 7 different chars spread across the servers and with a few exceptions I go for a money-making profession / combat profession.
