OK, I got lost on Dathomir the other night and stopped by the Nightsister Stronghold to use the phone. They were not very hospitable. . .they killed me. Any way. I was using my LVA, sinceI know that they are only vulnerable to Kinetic damage. I was attacked by 1 sentinel and 2 spellweavers. Was using area attacks and was dealing damage, but my bleeding was like a river and I lost health quickly. I really want to go back there to show themI was not pleased with their lack of manners and tojust be able to slay I slew a nightsister.
What tactics do you veteran Nightsister slayers recommend?
Thanks.
Oh, I've got the Wookie hunting armor which is fantastic protection.

The fact that they stick some nasty bleeds especially mind, you may want to pick up enough medic to stop bleeding and use stim c's or d's, or jsut take a good healer along with you.

I think one of the best Professions that complements Pikeman is Doctor as in PvE it has saved my a$$ alot of times. But as Benpimpin said, medic dabbling (which i hate) will do the job nicely.
Also before you go make sure you get mind/focus/willpower buffs and take some brandys with you (always double up) and some of that other mind food with ya (sorry been outta the game for 4 months cannot remember) Veg Canape (double that up) or something. Oh and take some Muon Gold or that +1k HAM food in case of emergencies. With all this in mind (like the pun
), any medic healing shouldn't really be a problem at all
and well any hits will be regenerated pretty quickly.
Sorry i really cannot give any more advice regarding there attackes, like I said i have been outta the game since June 3rd but am planning a return

My Night sister knowledge (for what its worth)
Righty.. my favourite PvE opponent in the whole game, i just love fighting them as they are a challenge now they have there specials back which is great.
My template is Master Pikes / Master Doctor
Firstly, if your a defence stacker with no medical skills other than novice medic then tbh u wont ever solo these that well, u might get lucky a few times but once they start to stack bleeds u can kiss your ass goodbye, Just yesterday i was fighting 2 weavers and a protector at once, the bleed they stacked on me was crazy, i was ticking for over 800 per tick. and it will take a good few /Firstaid to actually stop that bleeding so u gotta be ready for it.
I am also Speed/accuracy capped which helps no end in the healing/combat que, although recently us docs have a nice little delay of about 4 secs between heals/cures which is annoying but not the end of the world.
If u dont have the skill points for medic 2-x-x-x then ur gonna struggle unless grouped with someone who has got it, u could try the route of BIO enhanced bleed resists or tapes, although u do need to be wearing composite pants AT ALL TIMES! now as they have a tendency to go for the legs, and if that protector hits right, ur looking at 1K+ damage, so bio shirts, belts, anything other than pants will help you.
NS Tactics
The Biggest tip i can give anyone is Intimidate, this well help u hold ur own against all the NS including the elders, i have a hard time in solo'ing them but its not impossible, just takes time and getting used to what they do and what u can do against them.
For a pikeman, if ur using dots that is Warcry will become usless, as everytime the DoT ticks the warcry breaks, so instead i tend to use "taunt" this will stop them moving in there tracks, they will still attack but physically wont move fromthat spot which is handy in escape plans or if there low on ham and ecide to try and run.
I found it pointless in going for the mind pool, as we dont have a direct mind attack i would tend to stick with Health or mainly action DoT's and attacks, so u can keep the attacks going for as long as possible and inflict the most damage.
If u see a spawn of any more than 2 weavers, or 2 protectors be carful, i tend to try and isolate one at a time and drag them away from the pack because if they all agro, u will spend more time on the floor and healing that actually hurting them, a quick trip to the cloner
The other important thing that people miss is that becasuse we have the best area attacks in game, doesnt mean Area attack2 is the best for this, ive found i can inflict the same and more damage at the same speed with spin attack 2, but if im holding well against them i will tend to use area2 more to try to get the states applied asap.
They are tough, and worth while.just a little preparation before hand will save u alot of grief and the cloner, Take your time if going for a higher LvL spawn of NS its worth it in the long run, the loot is great and also the exp, should u be after exp that is
Foods/buffs
I tend to use Synthsteak and Aircake for this, helps me stay on my toes, sometimes if im going for more than 3 at once ill use a KD def food too, as us pikeman have crappy def's as standard really, so the foods are a must.
Stay mind buffed too, u WILL need it, there force powers can attack random pools "force Choke" expecially which is mean hehe should it hit a mind pool u will be glad of that buff.
Weapons
High damage LVA for the kinetic dmg types, or the much loved Night sister Energy lance for the high end NS such as The queen herself, as they tend to resist kinetic dmg and most other types.. But on that not Protectors will resist energy so if ur area attacking the queen and have Protectors around u, then u just wont hurt the protectors at all, and the same token if u switch to kin dmg, the queen would resist and the protectors wouldnt, its all about attacking the right targets at the same time to get the most from the dmg types avalible.
Hope what info i have given is of any use, i solo hunt the NS now, to cap my exp for FS conversion and also the loot factor, but they do drop credits too so u can collect a small fortune before u know it
Oh and btw, keep ya hands of the queen, i think she's starting to love me
