ah cool, thanks for the info. I still have alot to learn about pvp. Anyone tell me how the DoT info works? like seconds, potentcy, etc... I'm not clear as to how that works..

If you have a few speed tapes you would be easily speed capped with that weopon so the dot should stick after a few seconds, there are much much better ones out there but that would work if its the best you have.

35% pot will still land in 3/4 hits, all of mine do...
But a 33's duration, not really worth it tbh

ok i'm getting it, i think.
strength = ...?
duration = seconds poison/disease lasts
Potentcy = % chance to inflict
uses = # of successful inflictions
Q: Is the strength the total damage to occur over the duration or is there a rate of infliction( like in this weapon's case, it does 213 every 5 seconds?)
Q: Do DoT effects stack? I know in PvE I'll get the " You have sustained more poison/disease" message. If they do stack, then wouldn't the duration be moot?

Strength is the damage that will be inflicted with every tick of the dot.
This strength is only a guide since poison/disease innoculations (and battle fatigue) can change this value.
It does appear that dots of different strengths will still stick, even though they supposedly fixed that several patches ago. Hitting someone a few times with the same dot weapon won't increase the dot or reset the duration, you can however hit someone with multiple dot weapons to stick several different dots on them.
That's also one of the main reasons that the weapon switch timer was introduced.

Ah! I wondered why it was waiting to switch.( I'm a returning player)
Any idea on the exact timing of the tick?
- Every # seconds = 1 tick ?
- Or does bf/secondary stats affect the tick rate?

The tick on the dot, I think, should be about 10 seconds for poison and fire and 40 seconds for disease.
The tick time is not affected by bf/innoculations, etc.
