I've had master pikemen tell this novice that they have soloed kimogilas on Lok. Is this possible? What about baby krayts?

It's possible, just expect it to take a while
(watch out for that disease)

Juvenile Krayts, and all kimo varieties... are soloable, but like the above poster mentioned, its more about buffs and armor, however, what i do, is intim/ stack action bleeds/ action poison/ and leg hit all the way home. Expect to take a beating.. in terms of armor condition and battle fatigue..

What everyone else said. It's all about buffs/armor/action hitting.
My biggest solos so far are Canyon Krayt, NS Elder (when they were bugged into TKing), GDKs for months for my RIS, and the big bad Tuskens (Executioners, Observers, etc).
If your armor's top notch and you can occasionally drop a heal on yourself, as a pikeman you can pretty much take down anything.

All kimos are solo-able, action fire, poison, bleeds and leg hit 3.
As stated above they do run when down to their last few K of action pool but a well timed /taunt will bring em back.
Havent even tried hunting Krayts as Krayts dont drop anything that I want, but the theory is the same I suspect.

been a swordsgirl for ages, now going swords/pikes cos pikes are uber-sexy too - I'm looking at it the same way, everything is doable with a concentrated pool drain - just a change for me from mind pool to action pool hitting
oh and i wont have to rely on a lunge to get the KD/Warcry2 combo that seems to help a little.
oh and... solo'd 2 normal Kimo's at the same time, unbuffed with no armour as TKM/Swords/Brawler/Pikes xx4x/Medic - They aren't all that - at all. Used headhit3, Scythe, intim2, Warcry2 and about 2 full stim b's

yes its doable...
but Pikeman defences alone wont allow u to do it, u will need to be stacking fencer or something along those lines.

Whilst I've not tried GDKs (can never find any), the normal kimos aren't anything special.
Its more about armor & buffs than anything else. An intimidated kimo up against 80% comp will do virtually no damage.
Just 1 warning, when their health drops they run, except due to their size, they don't so much run as warp - usually quite a long way off

I've soloed enraged kimos with not even a drop in my ham, buffed with armour they wont even scratch you. I just auto attack tho, it takes a looooong time.

At the kimo city on Lok do any of you have any issues with those villagers? One of themalmost killed me. One of them was a Trandoshan pikeman who had medium armor rating, and was definitely a master.

I have solo'd a kimo, Pike/Doc so it was not to hard with the right armor.
It's not right, but possible.

A pretty powerful NPC spawns the same time as the Kimo in the town, I think its meant to be a protector or something, whenhe starts shooting you make sure you force it to melee cuz he hurts

When i faced a Kimo at the village i swear this guy was shooting me with an LLC
And yeah this guy was prolly more trouble than the kimo itself
