Well, I've been a BH for quite a while now, but it's getting stale. Hunting jedi just isn't as much fun as it used to be, takes too long to find them, and usually it's easier to go overt and shuttle to Theed (though it usually gets me jumped, too ). So with that in mind, I'm gonna be returning to Pikes.

It seems fun, and I love the idea of going to melee again, but I was wondering, is Doc necessary for a melee stacker? Master Pike is definitely going to be part of the template, no question, but is the amount of healer I currently have (0020 medic with Efficiency mods) good enough to last in PvP? Or is 4000 Doc (or some other combo) necessary to compete? Most people I see run around with Doc, and maybe it's because I'm used to kiting that it doesn't seem necessary, so I felt it better to ask those who are much more familiar with it than I am. Thanks for any help in advance

EDIT: Ooh, also, are there any special ingredients for pikes? Like krayt tissues and gorax shards for guns, any that work on pikes? Thanks again!

I do good in pvp with just 1xxxx doc. But I also dont have anymore sp cause ive used it all on fs boxes. I believe you cant use rancor teeth on melee weapons. Not sure which ones though.

Only item that works on pikes to the best of my knowledge are the improved vibro motors from Nyms or the nightsister queen chicka. And I think they only work on LVAs or Vibro Lances... could be wrong though.
