i am TKM and working on Mpike as well.

final template will be TKM/Mpike, DOC 4000

my question is:

while fighting with a polearm weapon , does the TKA skill apply on the fight?

I mean: i fight an high lev mobs with my VL....tecnically i am acting as a pikeman...can i go fight without wearing armour?( innate armour comes from TKM)

or, if i wear an armour certified for PIkeman, do the armour stats add to my TKM innate armour?

thanks for feedback.

TKM innate armor will be in effect......but as soon as you wear any armor it's gone. Even if you just wear armor gloves, so be careful.

I'm also going for this template 2223TKM/MBrawler/4444Pikeman so far which gets me to lvl 61.......

Beat a lvl 80 BH in a duel and a jedi a couple lvls higher.....I love it!

I currently TKM/MPike?Doc3001 I love this template, damge is a little low, but I don't have any uber pikes, so that is an easy fix. With ICOB, Intimidate and WarcryI really don't have much problem with any single mob, up to level 85 Most go for doc4000 butI like having the ability to give myself an action buff whenI want it, a fair tradeoff to me for the 2-300 higher heals doc4xxx offers.

This template is an amazing tank, I've solo'd level 85 NS somethings with ease, and took out the gorax with a friend this morning. I was tanking the gorax fine solo until he showed up, and given enough time I could have taken him. Interesting to me that a level 82 gorax is harder to take downthan a levl 85 NS, go figure /shrug

I always use pikes, and ICOB and inate armor work great with them. write youself a macro for ICOB, either one that autofires it, or tells you wneh it runs out. I have the autofire now, but i think I'm gonna switch it to a notice one, and manualy fire it. Taking damage durring the warmup causes it to misfire, and you really take a beating waiting for it to fire again. Doing a /dump and refiring it is pretty distracting while fighting and might make you miss a heal at a critical moment, it has for me

Inate armor works great, like the above poster said, any armor you equip will kill it, including TIE helmets and tusken helmets (go figure) At TKM it gives you 6000 coverage across the board, as good as pretty much any battle armor you are going to find, plus you get to wear your cool clothes and not the same armor everyone else is wearing!
