Thread: unusual template idea, help/advice/comments please!

A very common template these days is tkm/MDoc/Swords0040. People say this is very effective.
My toon is a female twi and I am mainly a RP person. I was thinking of respecing to tkm/Mdoc/rest in pikes. My toon just would not look right using a hammer and my current weapon of choice is an ADKd great staff, which can be used without any pike skills at all.
Does anyone have a template similiar or has anyone tried something similiar? I know pike wont give me the damage of swords, but will one line in pike give me enough damage to survive in pve? Im thinkin the lack of pike skills might be made up for somewhat by the ability to buff myself.
Any help would be appreciated

master pike, master brawler, 0100 tka, 0030 sword 4004 doc. thats mine and nothing kills me in this game.. although it only brings you to lvl 71

I thought about something like yours Sam, but I dont want to wear armor. The tkm is not negotiable. i want to keep using my great staff as we all know tkm is useless in damage but im thinking of droping part of master pike to go doc4004 or master doc.
just wondering if i can stay alive with either of those options and if i will be able to still solo as, like you, i am almost unkillable in pve, and dont want to give that up.
