I wanted to go on record that the TEF flags are still out there...another none fix of the game...because I was attacked after doing 2 rebel missions. He was a pistoleer and Creature Handler...well we were fighting and need less to say I had to use burst run to stay up with him...no matter wait...and guess what...hell Pistoleers should be the **edit** melee class of the game...I am only 2 skills away from Master Pikeman and he resisted KD all times as well as Stun and Dizzy attacks...of course I missed more times than not because he was out of range...so to make a long story short I was owned...and when I did hit it was only for something like 70 pts...but he did his specials and was doing 200 or 300 pts of damage. I believe this game has gone to **edit**s...and the dev's just do not know how to fix us.

On another not...I did two simple task in the city to go out and get some disc from a person...well needless to say again...I had to use my GSP to help me out because the NPC's were all 15% protected but no armor rating...only vun's were Stun, Acid, and Cold damage. When two of them came I was done for...because they had 5800 HAM so that was total of 11600 HAM I had to defeat...which I lost the first time that is where the pet came in. Oh they were also doing over 100 pts of damage because I wear no armor...if I wear armor I might as well use a simple reinforced combat stick because there is no way I could compete against them. Well I completed the mission anyhow...and you know what the big pay off was... 40 credits...thats right 40 credits. I am not sure about this...but sure does seem we still Suck.

Of course this is my opinion but I have been playing a pikeman from the get go and taking my time to do other things...but the more it seems I am not a Master (not that might matter) the more I find out...how lacking I truly am without a group, Creature Handler and Novice Medic...if other Pikeman feel the same way speak up...but this is not just about pikeman...it is about all meleers...when you are out done by a pistoleer at close combat range something is wrong...for it reminds me a sharpshoot beating someone up like Bruce Lee in close counter combat because he couldn't knock the guy down because he had a gun...come on...throw us a freakin bone here.

Just so you know, the TEF was not taken out of the game, the "revenge" TEF that you got after dying and cloning is gone. You still get TEFs.

If you don't like melee drop your pike and pick up a blaster like every other Tom, **edit** and Harry out in the Universe. If your in to the PvP end melee is not the way to go your going to lose hands down.

Never bring a knife/sword/stick to a gun fight.

This isn't meant to be a flame. I'm just saying if your not happy there are other options. This is just a game after all.
