Pikeman Archive

Im one mean ass defence stacking pikemen(186/186). Am i now one dead useless pikemen - as i run futiliy after the riflemen with no warcry to stop them from kiting me, and no defences to keep them from hitting me. Is it just BLAM BLAM your dead now?

I mean people dont seem so sure on whats hapened, but if melee/ranged has been hell nerfed - we are all in trouble cos we never gonna last long enough to kill a riflemen.

i think they olny capped the block/dodge/counter etc mods .... not melee/ranged def ..

im gonna do some pvp right now - i dont have high dodge etc - just 186range and melee so i should be able to c quite easily

ok fought powerhammer dude and ran around crazily against riflemen - anybody every heard of missing.

g this is fun - things might have needed 'tweaking' but after this change i cant really c a viable pvp class except riflemen. Main thing i do and enjoy is pvp. I have been pikemen since i started and dont want to change. SO, unless my experience changes over next couple of days i think thats gonna be me.
a couple of months of non-stop mind-shotting is not for me(though i did kill th dude - i was smart and he was dumb - i now stand zero chance against a smart riflemen)

and also devs - have they heard of pikemen.

since i have being playing i have only seen pikemen, polearm etc appear approx. twice in patch notes -i mean kinda lame indicator - but really makes u feel neglected

and now - tonight i killed a couple ppl by doting them up - the warcry peacing - thats just so lame - i feel guilty doing it.

kinda like jumping up and down in the back corner kicking Zangief - it just aint cool (ah..... memories.... i mean NERF Guile)

anyway sorry bout the bitterness stupig things piss me off

I logged in dreading the nerf yesterday. I checked twice and asked around, but my 184 melee defense was still there.

If only dodge/block/counter-attack got the cap, then I think the devs have done something right for a change and should be praised.

none of the changes are registering in your skill mod chart.

I didnt do conclusive testing - but a powerhammer was htting me easy(those swordsmen really used to suffer)

and a riflemen absolutely nailed me - i managed to escape and kill him later - but my mind just disappeared on me(i mean 4k of mind)

If m/r defence is nerfed - and it SEEMS to me it is - its real **edit**ed up. Cos with buffs and armour those classes like TKA are going to be even less effective - because now im going to actually be able to heal(imagine that) the puny amount of damage they do, yet riflemen are going to absolutely rip it up cos they wont miss.


also riflemen melee bug has been fixed - imagine if it hadn't?

and i hear(i dont have TKA) that Tka kd/dizzy no longer works very well at all - apparently it only usually lands the one state. If this is true i guess giving all the carebears +94 vs. kd food wasn't enough - they must have been to lazy to try it.

Ummmmm. Didn't Gunman just post in here somewhere that melee/ranged defense did not get nerfed.

Only the block/dodge/counter-attack got the shoe.
