rofl I hate my enter key... Lets try again!

I'm trying to contruct a PvP char... atm im gonna do CM + Something but I hope they hurry up and nerf-whack cm so I can be half-decent and do something interesting too

My current thoughts are mainly a mele based char build with carbineer as ranged support - dont bother running for them just knock em down! As for the mele class I was gonna go for fencer (high defence... good defence with the stun batton), and I never really looked at pikeman... all I know is it has low defences (like carbineer) What is pikeman good at then?

I haven't lost a buffed duel in about a month with Master Brawler/Master Pikeman/TKM/Novice Fencer/Novice Scout/Novice Medic template.

Both parties in duels were fully buffed and armored.

Then again a 496str Health 510s 210% potency combat staff, 273str Mind 120s 65% NS Lance, a 270-996 VL, 245-945 LVA are some of the weapons I own. I like to consider myself a CM/Pikeman.

btw gunman is unrmed toughness applying even while yelding anoither weapon ? ( i.e. pike )

If you stack with other professions and use good armor/food/weapons, you can sidestep the low defenses.

But as a whole, when facing the top players/profession templates, we don't do so well. CM and Rifle take us out quick. TK are hard to kill because of their defenses (toughness mainly).

I enjoy pvp as a pikeman, but I've had to pick up pistoeer and stack state defenses in oder to keep up with the hardcore pvpers.

Nope, unarmed toughness is for unarmed, polearm toughness is what we have, btw anyone ever seen a + to polearm toughness mod?

i myself do the pikeman/carbineer profession and i find it works well , especially against kiters, because both pikeman and carbineer have specials specifically against action it allows u to hit the same pool of course right now im using this to help compliment my 264strength action fire dot

Where do I get some of these weapons?? I have never seen a LVA better than 110-380.. What does a WS need to make these or where/what drops them??

Nightsisters only. Or you can buy them for millions and millions, hoping to get a dmg slice to get your only in-game goal of a 1k+ dmg polearm and only get speed slices...*mutters under breath*
