Thread: Dots Stacking Bug .... Grrrr

Italked about it lately... but now the same thing is happening to me =(((
I had weak Mind poison lance (around120 str and VERY low potency .. like 30%) that was the best I had ... So was using it along with my Action Fire Lance (266 str 46% Potency) ... both stacked np and I was doing ok ...
But today I bough a new Mind Poison lance (286 str 100% Potency .. for 250k lol) ... and my Action fire no longer stacks ...
It sounds like a bug .. maybe it's intended but if it is I don't see the logic behind it ...
I think we don't need anymore stealth nerf ... could you ask the Devs about it Gunman ??

Yes I have the same bug with my mind fire and 1 mind poison lance

I think there is some kind of stregth stacking. Like lows, mids, and highs can stack but you cant stack two lows or two mids. I have no idea if the pool matter, but it sounds like that could be the case here. When they dont stack, both 280ish may qualify for the same category (mids maybe) and therefor not stack. Try the low mind and the mid mind...that could be pretty wicked.
Like I said, I really dont know if this is true, just a suggestion.

strange.
I dont seem to have this problem. I can stack my 294 mind poison lance and 204 mind poison lance just fine.

Ran another test today its not just indivdual dots based on the player...
I handed the mind fire to another piker, and had them land the fire on someone... watched it tick, then I landed the poison and the fire never ticked again...
Its has nothing to do with the indivudual as much as the dots.
