Well I was a grinder who took pike up at profession 16 and well I'm done grinding. Pike is awesome and with the change coming no point in wasting anymore time. Might as well keep a cool profession like pikeman and enjoy the game. I love the KD moves, the lances, the axes. Very cool stuff, the dmg is nice. So what's the max dmg and speed you've seen on a pikeman weapon? Our guild smuggler sliced an axe for me last night 489 dmg and 4.5 speed. Speed is a little bad but the dmg makes up for it.
I'd like to know basically what i'm looking for stat wise with weapons, I guess before sliced...

Ok... are you just trying to get yourself banned? This sounds like a double slice to me bro. Personally I don't care about it as long as you don't use them in pvp, but sheesh you'd think you would not want to shout that out.

by AXE i'm sure he means LvA and to have a sliced one at 489 dmg is not a double slice, a high % slice yes, but not doule sliced, i'm LvA (which i got a 24% slice on) is 459 max dmg so..... not a double slice

The same as you. s4.5, 489 damage (sliced). What I've noticed changing most are the range mods. With a VL being anything from -15 to around 0 and a VLA from -35 to -15. The more accutate ones doing less damage.
Aside, worst lance I've ever seen (which I looted from a NS).....
s6.5, max damage 90, DoT (action poison), str. 8, pot. 7%.

I meant Vibro Axe..I just figured everyone would know what I meant...sry..
It's not double sliced, so dont' worry about that.
I just wanted to know what the stats of a good vibro axe, or lance would be? Since I'm stopping here with pike because its such a nice profession I wanted to learn more about it.

His reply was sarcasim?
Looks more like he was trying to warn me of the people getting double sliced weapons. Which sort of works because I never heard of a double sliced weapon and I was smuggler at one time. He was cool about what he said, but as I said its my fault for not using the correct name.

Well I think it was ... I mean we all know what an Axe is and a 480 LVA is quite common ... well at least on my server ...

I was the same way. I got done with grinding pikeman for a possible jedi, and I said screw the grind, and kept pikeman. Pikeman is wicked cool. 13 professions done, and stuck with pikeman. Will never drop it.

Totally with you man...pikeman is great...its one that I'd fight about giving up even after the revamp. Its fun too, I was out hunting last night with some friends and their like, wow your pikeman now. Isn't many pikeman around. I can't see why the specials are nice....

Hehe me too , Pikeman was profession 14 , that was a few months ago now , and i have never looked back. And i finally got an energy lance too today , spent most of the day shuttling around just to see the lightning effects

Ha... I dropped TKM [which I've had for a very long time] and picked up a Pike... I must say, I'm loving it... and with Master Doctor, the HAM costs are negligable [if even existant]. ^_^
