Blacksun Razor Knuckler
AP1
Speed 2.5
Heat Damage
99-251
50% WC
+7/+33/+7
37/50/36
Object Creator: Flynn (this is StGabriel correct?)

Considering that the max damage is 103 points higher than a topend VK, that makes the DPS with the +250 damage mod at Master TKA insane. Plus it's a new damage type.

Yep, but one thing to remember about that is that the min-max range is much greater, meaning mitigation has a larger effect keeping the damage from running away. Plus, being heat damage, which is a base stat for composite, you can have up to 90% resists, unlike kinetic that usually caps at 80-83%. All that combined and the RKs have lower PvP dps than the VKs, which have the best dps of all melee classes, even against 80% composite. (a lot of it has to do with mitigation.

I would like to know the PvE DPS on this then.

It kind of surprised me too. The PvE dps will definitely be higher. If it wasn't for the way composite is and melee mitigation 3, the RKs would be awesome in PvP. It's that extra 10% resist that gets it.

Wait a minute I realize you are making an assumption that isn't true on my server (Intrepid) at least. Our PvP suit strategy is to have 13-20% Stun/68-73% Electric in Special with 67-69% in base (67% being the minimum that can be sliced to 90%). So our suits (myself included) have equal in Kinetic and Heat. So RK's win on my server.

He's right antares. Heat protection can go just as high as kinetic protection, 90%(via slicing), like all base resists. It electricity which won't reach 90%m and stun obviously.

Fair enough. With stun vs without stun. I had only done numbers with a suit without stun so far. You're right, though. If both are 90%, the RKs win. Now the VL probably has the best dps.

When taken into consideration with accuracy, I have a feeling the RK will be back on top, again, if it was unseated.

I ran some quick numbers. With a speed-cap pikeman, speed-cap heavy swordsman with an above average scythe and the VKs & RKs for the TKM. On 90% base, 79% electricity composite armor & melee mitigation 3, the VKs still beat out the VL & LVA, The scythe is even with the VKs, the RKs win out on all.
