Got novice pikeman on TC5.

I'm now certed for the Lance. I'm able to equip the NS Lance too, so I assume that the certs ar the same, like live.

The NS Lance is pretty much twice as good as the basic lance, in the same box. There's no reason to ever use the basic lance now.

Could be interesting how the weapons are changed.

I've got what's probably the worst ever exceptional NS Lance, damage is truly awful and its just the standard health disease. Only good stats are the HAM costs & the speed. Figured it'd make an interesting wall hanger.

I suppose there's a chance that this will end up being a really good weapon post-CU /shrug

At least as of last night (haven't been able to get on yet today) the NS Lance's stats are down to that of a 2nd-tier elite box.

Either way it obviously shouldn't be granted in the same box as the basic lance.

edit: got on and the stats are indeed still down below master levels, but well above basic lance levels.

They should give it its own graphic.. sorta same visual concept as the NSEL. Then totally sever all ties with it to the Basic Lance. That'd be pretty sweet
