is it true that both of these pikes will be doing energy dmg because i have a nice 906 vl and what makes mine unique is that it does electric dmg.
was this just a bug on tc or what ?

There are two lances we get certed for in the master box on TC-5. The Vibro Lance(energy) and the Massassi Lance (kinetic) so we still have a mixture of damage types at high level. Also the NSEL now has master level damage. I thinktwo of the new lances have electric as elemental damage.

yes but what im saying is what makes my pike unique is what type dmg it doesso if they make my piek the same as an lva whats the point in having it "especially" since it does electric dmg ...Not to mentiont here goign to nurf the dmg down ...

it basically comes down to this ..."will my pike still be unique" cause its like the 2nd best vl on the gorath server..

Well i suggest you look at the screenshots on these boards of the TC weapons and compare the new stats of the VL and LVA , then decide if you think having a master weapon with 3 times the damage of a (current) crafted one is worth it. Even after the CU adjustment i'm thinking you're going to have a serious pike on your hands.

Electric damage makes your VL unique? All VLs currently do electric damage. Maybe I'm misunderstanding something.
Post CU there are only two base damage types: kinetic and energy. In addition to those some weapons (shock lance, electric polearm, cryo lance) do a smaller amount of elemental damage (electric, electric and cold respectively).
Your VL will be unique in that it will be a very very nice VL. VLs in general will also be better than LVAs, and so a good VL will be great to have.
