Thread: wow, did block get changed?

hmm, im stupid and havent tested or anything, but im asking for all of you out there who arent stupid and can test this. did block get nerfed? i was looking at my combat tab and taking the usual 500-600 dmg from a jedi then i see "swings at you but you blocked it" then after i killed the jedi (im a cool BH 
) i went back to that spot in teh combat spam. i looked up and down and didnt see anything that resembled 1/2 of the dmg that i had been taking without blocking.
my question is: did block get nerfed so it is able to stand up to dodge and counterattack (ie: 100% blocked, not 50%)? or did i just miss something?

It has always said that in Combat.. you still take half the damage.

nerfed usually refers to a bad thing lol but ya i think its always been misleading like that...

i just purchased a +21 block AA, in a duel with a friend i blocked twice.

To the guy w/ the +21 aa did you have a cob macro running? i have +14 on a belt and i block quite a bit.

is it me or do you only need +10 to cap it??
I have master rifles so i capped for free. . . . i have 190. . .heh

I have +140.. even without COB running I'm spamming the Combat tab with Block messages unless I'm fighting someone with really uber accuracy tapes.

I don't believe accuracy has an effect with getting past the block modifier.

Most definitely does. If it didn't, why would we bother with Snowcake fighting fencers?
