Thread: whats pikemen's speed cap

Just got Master Pikes lastnight (japan time). I checked my speed and it said +75. How would I get it to +95, CA's, AA's? Ahh nevermind i won't worry about it until after the Cu. *thinking out loud* time to visit the NS stronghold.

Current system:
Master Pikeman: +75
w/ Master Brawler: +80
w/ Force-sensative melee speed 4: +92
w/ Polearm Speed +3 CA/AA: +95

I dont understand how speed capping works? Does that mean that no matter what the speed of my weapon is I wont be capped? Or if i have 80 speed than i cap at a low speed pike or how does it work?

The formula won't be like it is now, where you keep increasing at the same rate up to an end point. It will be some forumla of diminishing returns, i.e. the more speed you have, additional speed bonuses add less to the total.

Under the current system, if you have +80 speed you're capped with a 1.6 speed pike. +95 speed caps you up to a 6.6 speed pike, so it isn't the theoretical CAP (aka, 1 hit per second with hit3 with the slowest pike possible). However, the odds of finding a pike slower than 6.6 are slim to nil.

This does damage per second calculations for you at your current level with your current weapon(not limited to pikeman)
