Thread: Pike vs JEDI??

just a thought Im trying to do something different, I am currently MBH/Mrifles but i was melee BH before CU, and I miss it, any of you got any input as to howPike fairs against Jedi? and if good what professions would compliment it?

I SOLO JEDI ALL THE DAMN TIME W/ PIKE... ITS NP UNLESS HES A HEALER.... THEN UR SCREW'D(damn caps) use synthsteak canape and blob candy and ull be amazed.. we out dammage them... and most of us are quicker than they r... although i do have 285 melee def... which helps a bit

hmmmm, this is great news, I was pike / BH pre CU, I loved it.....maybe I made a mistake switching to rifles

I don't do the BH part, but without meds I can go toe to toe with jedi as a MDoc/Mpike. With the right foods, I'm unstoppable even if they are a healer. They will usually run out of force faster then I run out of mind. Granted it takes a long time to deplete a healer of force, but it will happen eventually. Plus all the added bonus of the doc speed buff really make me move fast.

dude i bet.... im thinking of adding some doc to my temp. when i use my respec token.... and drop some tk..*cept for the meditation tree* just to heal up a bit durring battles.


i was fighting a jedi the other day incapped him twice till he got up , healed , and ran away.... he was sending me tells freaking out about the dammage i was doing to him also found out that pike is very handy in a pvp battle... i was pike waaaaayyyyyy b4 the cu... and to be honest i like it even better after... cept for the animations of course

I am a pikeman master with 72 Accuracy and 240 Defense (mixed with a few professions) and I
stand against a Jedi fairly well. It all comes down on how much Force the Jedi have and how much
he can heal himself. If you manage to empty the Jedi's Force you'll probably win, thats what I've seen
at least. If you notice that they dont take that much of damage and high heals then you are toast.


Again, it all comes down to how good the Jedi is. A Master Defender will slice you without having
any real trouble but the other sorts of Jedi are always a possibility to kill. So yeah, Pikeman can stand
up against Jedi.

jedi are np as long as u have a good VL and a good armor/PSG...

ohh.. and dont forget ur food and ruby biel... and err... stims

If you are gonna go that route, then do MPike/BH 4000/Doc 4004

The improved speed buff is well worth the extra. Plus the healing from doc is better for an individual. Plus, you can heal your own wounds.

Amiebeth is master mike/tkm/ and 4xxx doc...and she can stand toe to toe with anything but fully buffed master defender. she wears nothing but the new bio-clothes that are melee/ ranged def b/c that innate tk armor is very nice.

I'm Master Pike/Master Doc and do a great deal of damage against jedi with my kashyyyk bladestick, my approach is to have a speed buff, conserve action points hitting slowly, then when the jedi is down to half health knockdown and hit fast to incap. And the Mushroom Pie reward in the myyydril caves gives unbeatable combat speed when teamed with a doc speed buff.


Pikeman rules against jedi if used in the right way.
