Thread: Are Pikeman getting new animations with the next patch?

Pretty simple question really. I was Pikeman from sept 2003 until shortly after CU, i dropped pikeman out of disgust regarding the poor animations (i picked pikeman because im a huge martial arts fan, polearms and stick fighting being my favourite weapon combat). After seeing the Jedi animations, i would really like to know if Pikeman are getting similar love, if so i will be /respec'in back to master Pikeman

Bah, disapointing. The double-bladed Jedi get to use our animations before we do.....

Yeah, the animations got fixed for Jedi and TKA. Animations for us and (probably) others will be comming soon according to thier answers from the 3 questions we presented.

Gives you the feeling of the old days, doesn't it? TKA get everything they want, pikemen get screwed.

Im just glad everything is getting fixed. I have a Jedi, a TKM and (once i hit /respec) will once again have a Pikeman. The horror that was the CU for melee animations really killed the profession for me. I could barely handle losing our damage potential, i could just about handle not being a better tank than TKM, but to also have our moves look like complete crap? It was just too much
I want to look like Fong Sai Yuk, not any old person waving a stick...

I hope to god so, not just for pikemen but for the other professions as well, i think they all need upgrading. Seeing too many bh around and others with blasters in their hand!!!!1

It seems ppl like to point at things from other profs that work and say: See? They are better off than we are!
But never see that the others are screwed as well. We all have problems! (But my CH/Ranger has the most 
)
