yes, it was nerfed. should you like to sign the petition to restore its effectiveness, head over to the core systems forums. if youd like to discuss it further, there is a discussion thread in the brawler forums.... and on the fencer forums as well.

W T F !?!?!

So now its just a long range (short to ranged fighters) low damage attack?? What is the point? We cannevercatch up to shooters now. UGH!!

This was no nerf, nerfs have patch notes or Announcements, this was a sneaky rap3 of customers who playing melee chars, allmost the after CU ...

So support APEist s un-nerf petition.

it wasnt nerfed.. it wasnt supposed to be a kd post cu.. was a bug.. i noticed this when cu came out that lunge was a ranged attack to do dmg. not kd.. they only fixed the bug takeing the kd out which wasnt really supposed to be there.. dont get me wrong tho.. i dont like it either.. i like the extra range to catch up to them kiters

After the CU, the description for lungesaid it had a chance to KD. When the nerf occurred, the description was changed, and the KD part was removed from the text. If the attack was working according to the way it was described, I don't think it was a bug.

Any news on this please ? As i quit the game a week or two ago and am re grinding my melee template but im not bothering if this isnt fixed as beating ranged becomes 100 times harder given how laggy the servers are and the fact that even when im stood on top of them it still says im too far away.
