Damage mod isn't working as far as I know. Evasion and counterattack arn't either I believe.

Attachments wern't converted with the CU to fit within the new system so there's going to be attachments that don't work untill the devs have the time to go through and convert attachments to working ones.

What are they supposed to do anyway, increased chance of sticking the state?

Well, you get the skill but you dont get mods with them. So, I dont think they will do anything...

And now that you ask:
What are they supposed to do anyway, increased chance of sticking the state or increased effect?

K.. As I recall though, there was an Intimidate skill mod in your Ctrl S screen. I remember Master Brawler giving +20 Intimidate and then it would never miss. I think its possible, even if we don't have a + Intimidate mod in our skill tree, that it could still give a bonus though. I wish I had some Intimidate tapes around, I'd test this.

I am not sure if it would stick for longer with tapes, I may be wron but I dont think it would. The Intimidate skill would just be landing the basic state on your opponent for the same amount of time I would of thought. The skills may help to increase the likelyhood of it sticking. In spite of this I wouldnt personally invest any money into buying Intimidate/Warcry SEAs, unless they were really cheap.

The Pikeman Specific Mods that work for sure are Defense, Accuracy, Speed(along with generic versions of these). I dont think evasion or damage work since they arent skills shown in your skillsheet (I dont think they ever existed..even pre-cu)

I agree with the int/warcry, just noting an observation that someone pointed out. I do believe that the skills do enhance chance of success though, tested again tonight.

as for damage and evasion, they both existed, because I've owned ca's and polearms that had the stat adjustment on it.

now we know speed works for sure, but defense and accuracy still not sure. they definitely show in the ctrl+s screen, but no viewable/tested data shows any difference....

as for warcry/int sea's u can cap out with proper BE clothes if so desired.

I know dmg and evasion existed as SEAs, but people tell me that the actual skills were taken out during beta, but the dmg and evasion SEAs still existed in game

well.....Gunman let us know what other input you have to this effect, as it seems , there are only less than a handful of ability boosts available atm...
