First off, I'd like to say that sadly I came across this class via a holocron...I'm am sorry about that. I feel like a nubb infringing on the territoryof the fortunate few who actually discovered this awesome class. To be honest, when I first started my hunt for holorcons...I was deathly afraid to get a messege telling me to master a combat profession. I have been and still is a crafter at heart. Going hunting for holocrons with master architect, master artisan, 4|2|4|4 merchant.....what else would I be hoping for.... SO..there I was, using the holocron, Master Pikeman. I was somewhat discouraged...let down...but I crafted my first wooden staff. I've been hunting everyday now for the last 5 days...and to be honest, being a master pikeman has opened new horizens for me. I was a novice pistoleer...loved pistol tactics....but picking up that staff makes me feel like more of a man (if that doesnt sound too cheesy)....I seriously feel like a badass when I look into the eyes of a kreetle and send that 6-legged gift from hell to the grave!! I must say, this is anuncharted and neglected area within Star Wars. I hope that it actually stays untouched as much as possible. I've combed over thrughout this forum over the last few days and the feeling of brotherhood and respect seems to run more deeply in this forum than any other. Cheers to you!!

Please feel free to list any pointers...and good combat combinations of skills...oh, and WHERE ARE ALL THE PIKEMAN TRAINERS!! LOL....

*cheesy was that, but I had to say it.

Welcome my friend to the hardest and least mastered proffesion ever!!! lol,.. when you get novice pike take defence first ,. this will give you a nice sweep(KD) attack,. from there on you can do what you want,. a little advice though,.. USE WARCRY one of the most underused skills in game,. it delays target for 10 seconds,. this alows you to *try* and hit them without suffering the consequences of their hits,. after that wears off use a sweep on them this will make them alot more vulnerable to your attacks - you are a great damage dealer - you just dont know it yet -- becasue you cant land anything lol --dont worrie it WILL get better ! ,... soon you will have area KD and 4 area attacks !

((((((------ Be Warned my friend once you hit Master Pike and get that Polearm Hit 3 *and are dealing 10k dmg every hit * - you may Not Want to change proffesions ,. even for Jedi!-----)))))

I usually pay a visit to the one in KV on Corellia.

I am in belief this is my last profession from the holo as I have used 4 holos and nobody to date has got a message from the 5th holo.

At any rate I am now working up the pikeman tree and compared to rifle it is very rough going, but it is fun and it does feel like you're actually fighting. I guess right now I am having fun but worry I see how much more difficult this is compared to rifle and know that finishing up them last few boxes is going to be a royal pain.

Once you get (insert awesome move here) it's a breeze.

Now if I could only just find that elusive (insert awesome move here).

The only trainer i know of is the one in Theed Naboo, if you are LEAVING the cantina closest the starport, its to the left across the little bridge you should see him

there is a trainer in mos espa, can't find my paper with the coords.

And yes pike is awesome

Though I just had to laugh at this, pike makes you feel like a man, they you brag about killing ...krettles??? Hahahahahahahah.

Pikeman Trainer easiest one to remember and one I always go to, Is DEAD smack next to Shuttle Port C in Theed!

Skills.. get the skills on the far left first. get advanced to get the speed mod, best thing I ever did, then defenses!

Well if you want fast exp, get Creature Hanlder or a friend who has it, tank a pet or 2, I prefer 2... on Huurton Stalkers and Bol and Dantooine... usually for me around 4k exp a pop! Also those cave man kunga guys... over 4k.. then on endor.. Those wierd NPC's that r giant men... this is the bfastest best sore of EXP I have ever gotten as a Pikeman!

BEST TIP YET... Were broken, you can get killed without being hit a signle time because HAM cost is so high!! GET BUFFED!! When Im buffed I have NEVER ran out of action and health ham bars, only mind which rocks! So go to dantooine buffed (not in the buff haha) with a CH friend or ur own pets, and take Kunga guys, Huurton Stalkers, and Bol/bolma things (the ones with horns looks like dewback)

I usually, hit them with stun first, followed by knockdown..action hit and the rest hit2..works good for me. Also remember to not get to close, you have a reach, and if you get too close the dang thing will attack you instead of pets! Renders pets pointless.. Also after novice get a pike friend to train you.. if you were (or are) on Intrepid gice me a tell Pademae or Arcadius master pikeman, orEepan also master, and soon to be master pikeman Arief! Also if you duel, which is almost pointless in pikeman since were so broken use intimidate first especially against Teras Kasi goons (not that you'll see any since their profession is soooo rare! haha)
