Thread: What would be the best place for a Novice Pikeman to grind EXP????
I've been doing Kamurith Missions on Dath,but It isn't getting enough. I want moooooooore!
Whats the best place,in your own opinion.
Also,what would be the best skill layout for getting Master the fastest?
and that is wearing armor.. yikes!
i've been killing pickets.. then again i'm also a master ch with 2 graul maulers tanking for me...

Ok here goes my 2 cents, I've been grinding my xp overall on Dantoonie which is a good place to do so. If you want to level up the fastest way I would say is either the Pickets which some of you have mention but also the Hurton Stalkers give you more xp overall and I have taken this advice from other brawlers beside pikeman as well. You can get at least 4,100 to 4,500 max per kill. If you can pull them one at a time its easy but if they attack you in a pack most likely you will die. Make sure you have a Powerful LVA or VL with you otherwise you will not live long.
I have found the Voritor Hunters are even better and give you about 5,500 xp sometimes 6100 and again I stress pull them one at a time. For those who do not know it depends how many times you can strike the creature overall which adds up the xp points.
If your an Imperial you can tank with your ATST, mind you that it will suffer blows aftertime but thats the best thing to do with an Imp Pet. Now if your a Rebel get CH and tank your pets either with a Sledge Panther or Graul.
I do have medic skills so thats why I can deal with this otherwise I couldn't count how many times I would have incapped or worst died.

mountain worrts on tatooine. good exp for low level pikeman, plus they are non-agro so you can whack around on one of them and not worry about others joining in.
Huurtons on Dantooine. Start with low level ones, then move up to higher types of huurtons as your skills move up. These guys are agro, so hopefully you have ch skills or have learned how to single pull. The benefit of these guys is their relatively low ham and very low kin resistence, so they are much easier kills compared to other similar level mobs.
Pikets on Dant are the best IMHO. They are level 35 Piket Longhorn Missions. Each one gets you 10k creds around 40k pike xp and 4k combat. I am not CH at all, I only have a cowardly gurreck tank. Like others have said make sure to stay 6m away, and attack males first (they are the ones that will pack attack). Use action bleeds if you have em and leghits. A dizzy followed by a sweep and a war cry will often keep them down until you are done with them too. The 6m rule also applies for hunting in groups. If you can get with agroup doing big game hunting just stay 6m from the target and you should be gold. Pikemen are generally XP hogs in groups. Good Luck...
