Greetings proud pikemen!

First let me say this forum is very nice indeed, you really seem to have a community going here (unlike too many other forums).

After quite some time playing SWG now I tried alot of ranged proffesions and tbh it's getting boring in both PvE and PvP and so I decided to try out melee and well... pikeman it is!

I'm currently master doc/master carbineer so I'm not too worried bout ham costs etc and Ill be dropping carbine as I go along getting boxes for pike. This way I can always pull out my carbine if things get hectic - at least for a while

I haven't seen too many posts about PvP (maybe I havent looked hard enough) and I'm just wondering if someone has taken their pikeman alot into the galactic civil war and have some experience they wanna share?.

Anyways since I'm a doc, people usually expect me to constantly cure disease, poison etc. Not always leaving me much time to fight my own battles and I figured a nice lance would be a good weap if I'm gonna hang back alot and watch my comrades. All in all I just think Ive had had it with spamming knockdown -random shot - random shot at some guy I can barely see.
