I will probably be getting pikeman tonight, this is kind of early but I am curious. Is there a best method for advancing through the skills? I am not looking for the quickest per se, just the best skills to go forfirst. I was thinking getting the 1st defesiveline skill for KD, but after that I wasnt sure.

Stances for speed should be next. You might want to get the first offensive box for the leghit to complement actionhit1, but you should go up the stances tree after defensive.

my method that i offer is to alterante betwwen stances/defense then get offensive last

of course pick up support as you go

I agree 100% with Antares. Get the Def. 1 KD move and then Stances 1 - 4. Then finish off Def. and then Offensive.

I got my PolearmSweep1 few days ago. I thought it will be very cool that i can knock people on the ground. Afteri used it, I think I should of got Polearm Stance instead of Polearm Defence. The reason is that without good speed and accuracy it is hard to KD people down. It takes me few PolearmSweep1s to KD a enemy. And the enemy can stand back upbefore i can do my next special. I got my Polearm Stance last night, PolearmStun2 does pretty good damage and it can stun enemy around you very easily. Although I am not a very good Pikeman yet, but I found Polearm Stance more helpful than Polearm Defensive.

Use Warcry directly after you KD. That keeps them on the ground for a while.
