ok i recently got a hold of a few of these pikes on my server, they seem relativly decent a few with damage up in the 300's with sp at 4.2 and another that has some other defence vs (something)

i was wondering when can i actually use these nightsister poles of doom?

I thought maybe their certification fell under basic lance? And there are some very nice nightsister lance drops, just like the "exceptional" LVAs, those things ROCK, one was being auctioned on Eclipse, think it sold for 3mil, had +25 dizzy defense and +25 block I think, was 135-544 damage, speed 2.1, 181.5% wound, and like 40/70/2 HAM, and that was unsliced unupgraded

yeah that exceptional lva looks awesome too bad the bids are now up to 5.5mil. im a broke lil wookiee...

5.5 mil for that? It's nice, but I'm not sure it's *that* nice. I like the +25 block, wound % (very nice) and 50% HAM cost. It's worth a lot, but I don't think it's a 5 mil weapon.

Here is the catch with those night sister lances.

They have a -66 to hit or -60 or -55 or -50

basiclly you cant hit a broad side of a barn!

I picked me up a nice Vibro lance something (whatever the cert is for novice pikeman)

It has a -11 to hit and i find that i hit much more often.

I got it sliced for a 30% damage and does around 100-250 damageish? with 4.3/8 (sorry not at home) attack speed

bahh guess not ALL of them are.

Its a good idea to check that stat thou before dropping 300k on a pike

My NS Pike is 16-298 3.0 speed with +10 polearm damage + 10 defence vs. dizzy and +6 polearm accurecy =D! the modifiers are only -9 across the chart though, thats pretty decent I think =)

Yeah that is a sweet lance hehe

the one i use is 604 6.0 no ham over 50 i think its 16/50/10 with a 281 str health posion dot with 85% potency 3.2k charges

A NS Elder in their "slave cave" dropped me a little gift a while back.

An LVA with normal ham and accuracy, ~120-400dmg, 4.0spd, +25 to block, +25 to Knockdown defense. Unsliced of course. Not uber but pretty nice.

And the great thing about these drops is that Nightsisters are a breeze for a buffed pikeman. Just get in range of their kinetic attacks, jump into some good ubese and swing away!
