Thread: Can Pikeman P vs. P?
I heard from other people that a master pikeman does about the samedamage as a master swordsman. The problem with pikeman is that it doesn't have a mind attack, but some speical in pikeman can does stun, and dizzy effects on enemy. That is why some people suggest to get Master Carbineer and Master Pikeman to be effect inP vs. P. Can Pikeman be effective in P vs. P without other prof.? or pikeman are totally sux in P vs. P.
we don't suck in PvP, but we aren't good in it either... I think of myself as the bleedbitch in PvP: bleed and run, lunge is fun
antares
master pikeman
Dueling wise, we are teh suck. It takes just unarmedblind to ruin us. You can however be a **edit** to them and put a bleed on that isn't easily removed.
For massive PvP fighting, go find the Riflemen and pound them into the ground, or anyone else who is kneeling/prone
Pvping with pikeman is a lot of work. But its fun, you get a rewarding feeling when you actually beat someone. You feel like you just did something super human
.
Now, i cant tell how a plain pikeman would do on pvp cus my template has some nice defenses. But theres a few things that help.
First, only use your vibro weapons if your oponent is armoured, or maybe not even then. Your basic lance is your best weapon. The accuracy and Ham costs are so much better on the basic lance you wouldn't believe. Just try dueling a couple friends and youll see. True, you dont get the armour piercing, but you cant have it all right? At least you wont kill yourself too fast with the specials.
Actually ive been doing some testing with the metal staff too, still not sure how well that works though. I got one with dmg slice and its like 107-170, and the HAM costs are sooooo low, its nice.
Also food and drink are everyones friends, and tat sunburn is totally overrated. There is another coktail of food and drink that allows you to spam specials with no ham costs for most melee classes/weapon ( yes, including us pike ppl).
Can pikeman be efficiant at PvP?
Short answer "yes", with an "if"......long answer "no" with a "but"....
