Okay, I'm not one into conspiracy theories or anything like that, but I've noticed something weird.

The most common 'good' loot dropped these days seems to be from nightsisters. That 'good' loot seems to come in the way of lances/vibro axes/vibro lances. Or the much sought after energy lance schematic. Now its been posted that almost all nightsisters drop loot now and again but only the elders and the cave boss have the 'good' loot.

So after killing several of these guys it got me to wonder.

If the much sought after loot is in the form of polearms, why is it that the high end mobs that carry this loot seem to be 100% resistent to all polearm attacks. Both NS elders and the cave boss are 100% resist to both kinetic and electricity.

Upon further examination I noticed that said mobs are only 15% resist to blast. Which, correct me if I'm wrong, is the kind of damage that a swordsman deals out with a power hammer.

Wouldn't have made more sense for the devs to say put the ns' electricity resist to 15% so we may at least be able to do some kind of damage with our vibro lances.

It seems odd that a swordsman, who would have no use for a looted lance (except of course monetary), would have an easier time with a nightsister elder or cave boss then the pikemen who are the ones who could use the much sought after weapon.

I don't know if this is intentional on the part of the devs. If it is some kind of mistake or they just decided to start dropping loot in nightsisters without considering who would be after the loot.

Well, all NS drop polearms, and even ones below elders can drop exceptionals and super-nice polearms, and any NS below an elder has high resists to everything but kinetic (5-20%). So, while it's true that the best chance of getting the top-of-the-line polearms come from elders, they can drop really weak ones as well. I've looted LVAs from elders with stats of 10-150 @ 6.5 before, and I've looted really sweet ones from sentinels or spell weavers.

spell weavers are kind high up there just below protectors right? THen what is next the initiates then rangers?

we will put it this way i have never found anything really good from an elder good stuff came from outcast they actually seem to be a rare spawn tamers one of those dropeed an exceptional lance for me and protectors

don't forget about ns stalkers i think they have around 23k ham compared to 10-14k ham (or something like that) for rangers
