Greetings to all the pikeman reading this post. My name is AhuraMazada and i am a Master Ranger and Master Carbinier. I am considering dropping the Carbinier skill to pursue the way of the Pikeman and was just looking for some feed back on how effective the Master Pikeman is against most animals in combat. The carbinier skill has served me well but the only draw back is when i get rushed by multiple animals i am in for one heck of a fight. Since my interest are more towards resource harvesting i think i could do with out the Carbinier skill. That seems like more of a PvP skill. Well thank you for your time and i await your replys.

You know we should really look into having some kind of thread where we pikemen offer tips and tricks and such. Or maybe one with an faq or something like that. After we make these threads, we should sticky them to the top of the forums so noobers who come here can find them easy.

That would be a swell idea and I think I'll start that right away. I'm gonna call one tips for beginner pikemen and the other one pikeman faq, and I'm gonna get them stickied.

Leave the profession now, dont waste your time. It will only get worse. Try playing TKM or fencer as they are the strongest as stand alones. The upcoming changes to combat will only ensure you never ever get xp as you will hit only once every 3 seconds and that is at your best. Who knows how slow you will be at your worst. What this means is you will not be able to solo nor will you be able to fight in a group as you will only get two or three hits compared to the possibel 18 hits the fencer will score. i think the fencers might have a higher damage per second and take all the xp. Sorry, life isnt fair so why should this game.

Man you got a lot of pent up anger and hostility. I think you need to log back into the game and go kill a bunch more nightsissies. Maybe that will take the edge off some of your anger.

yea Legwand we SHOULD have those FAQs or something written by Master Pikemen who know what theyre talking about

actually as far as carbineer goes, thatd be like having a pikeman ranged profession, they have many of the same problems we do of course you also would have 4 action bleeds hehe.
