Pikeman Archive

As it has been stated, many pikeman believe that our profession is going to be fixed considerably in the next large publish. Im hard pressed to think that we will be fixed if our speed cap is going up to 3.0, unless they seriouly up the damage we will be in as bad of a position as ever. The only thing I can think of is:

1.) If they lower speed they will need to up damage considerably.

2.) lowering speed will keep our HAM costs viable since we hit harder.

3.) I think they will need to raise our accuracy a bit, otherwise the fact that we have to wait 3 seconds after a miss will be our fate, especially if we miss a second time....

What do you guys think will be changed so drastically that the profession will be a more adequate stand alone profession from what it is now?

Oh yes, dont think im flaming pike or somthing, I like pikeman alot considering im going on mastering it a second time

The caps (to my understanding) were just being thrown around by Dan "The Combat Man", not sure if they would actually be going in.

If they did in fact go in - It would be a good laugh for sure.

I sure hope so, I like being able to hit with PH3 at a nice speed.

That Dan guy needs a promotion to get his crazy little hands out of the combat design. Make him manage something and let someone else do the "combat" stuff.

Actually, that post was made in September. Since then Dan the Combat Man has been shifted over to the space expansion team...
