hey guys i looted myself a +9 Melee Defense/ +11 Polearm Accuracy armour attachment last night - i just have a couple of questions about armour attachments.

1. Is it the highest value that works, or random, or first?

2. If i stick it into a piece of armour - does the value decay once the armour has decayed?

3. My idea was to get a 0-encumberence belt with sockets - is this possible(have seen 0-enc belts but without sockets)?

If the belt wont work any advice is appreciated.

Thank you for your help.

Wow...nice attachment. If only you could get both

You'll get the +11 accuracy bonus out of it only. You should put it in something like an ubese shirt, no stats, so if it decays to 0, you can still wear it.

The values on attachments don't deay with armor, they just become useless because the armor is useless.

hey antares thanks for the answer problem is - i wear 90% base comp(im a pvper) so not too keen on replacing chestplate - is it my understanding(from days i wore ubese) the ubese shirt can go under the chestplate(like it can on ubese jacket)?

If it can i get ubese shirt - and will the belt idea work - that would be more sockets.

Thanks

The ubese shirt is an undershirt, so you can wear it and a chestplate. If you can find an armor belt, yeah, that would work...I don't know of one, though. Ubese has a bandolier that could potentially be made with sockets, I'm not sure of what else.

all things decay, but tailor stuffs lasts forever... that is, they will decay, but you'll still be able to wear after reached minimum ....and ppl wonder why tailors are poor? -why buy that which you don't need?

Take a look at the armor clothing. It doesn't display any decay stats. It's not tailored it is made by an armorsmith, but it is different from other armor in how it displays. Armor and tailored goods also show a durability bar when you target them and armor belts, bandoliers and shirts do not.

Either they aren't really decaying or they are but you can't see how. I suspect the former.

huh? don't know about your server, but on mine all armor/clothes decay when Iclone. Decay as in loose condition...

I'm not talking about general armor or clothes. I am talking specifically about the clothes items that armorsmiths create (mabari armorweave belts, ubese shirts, ubese bandoliers are the ones I have seen and used). They are a specific exemption to the general way that decay works. Check it out. Get a mabari armorweave belt and you won't see any durability listed at all.

ah, sorry for the misunderstanding

I'm guessing there is no decay, since they got no condition. Do they show up when you clone, cause if not: you're pretty safe for now

I don't believe it shows up when I clone. But actually I'm not sure that's quite enough to know that it doesn't decay. Oh well, for now I'll just try not to die any more than I have to. =-)

You can get socketed ubese bandoliers and undershirts as mentioned. You can also get a mabari armorweave belt.

As far as I can tell these don't decay at all. Can anyone confirm that this is true, or is the decay simply not displayed?
