I've done 2 handed before and I am currently working on pikeman.
WIth 2 handed, the Curved Sword has good accuracy and medium armor piercing. It is a fine weapon and rather easy to make your way to novice swordsman using it.
Polearm on the other hand doesn't have such a weapon. I have a basic lance withgood stats, but there is no AP at all. The Long Vibro Axe, while having medium AP, has horrible accuracy.
Is this common or have I just not seen the 'right' long vibro axes yet? Any pikeman on Starsider know of a good place to get an accurate Long Vibro Axe?
If this is common, I believe it should be addressed. We should have a weapon that should compete with the two handed curved sword before grinding our way to novice pikeman.

There is no such thing as an accurate LVA.
However, if by some chance you're using an old LVA with -50 or so range modifiers, you can at least now get them around -30. The accuracy of both the LVA and VL was "fixed" around that 24-hour period it took swordsmen to get rid of their negative range mods on the scythe.

Why is it so bloody low? This should be added to the issues list.

I believe the intent was to have Pikeman be the most damaging melee, however having the worst accuracy. It's kinda turned around a little however and we are not the most damaging melee class.
