No, thisisnt another "Pikean ROX if u use it right!" threads. Im thinking that Bounty Hunter is much worse off than pikeman. At least pikeman has lots of skill points over to do pretty much anything (except BH), doctor, cm, fencer, you name it. BH on the other hand is horrible, and costs 217 skill points, leaving you with 33 left over. Anyone agree? Dont want to be flamed, just brining up an opinion.

Seriously tho, want do people think? Is pikeman and bh on the same boat in terms of being the worst?

yeah oyu are correct cause I was prett amd when I couldnt master like 2 elite profs only BH so I left BH

Although I agree that BH's have some serious issues, I don't think they are the worst. They have some good specials and weapons, and a good BH can be quite effective. But, I do agree they deserve a little something extra, especially if they master the profession.
I'm not even sure if I'd say that Pikeman is the worst profession, I think it's the worst brawler profession, but I'm not sure ifit's the worst profession.
Bounty Hunter's do enjoy some things that other professions do not though, jedi bounties and bounty hunter terminals. Now is that enough to offset their weaknesses? I don't think so, but you have to keep that in mind at the very least.

Worst is completely up to the individual.
For some people they would spend 217 points just to be able to hunt Jedi. Some people don't care one bit that they can do that.
I would agree that Pikeman is probably the worst brawler professions for normal players. However it is one of the few professions that have a decent chance at getting a good looted weapon. Good Nightsister lances are rare, but a lot easier to get than a good weapon for any other profession. Now is that worth being the worst brawler profession without one of those pikes? I would say no but many others would disagree I think.
I would say it is one of the few professions that offer a challenge though. So that is a bonus.
It still comes down to what the person wants. As a swordsman I think our specials suck. I do decent dmg, but there are really only 2 useful ones(SA2, HH3). I'm not saying pikeman is any better, just don't go completelyon dmg and killing power when you compare how good professions are. Rifleman is and will always be FOTM unless it is majorly nerfed. It has a nice array of specials and do decent dmg. Same thing with TKA, so many different state specials, 1 dmg type kind of hurts, but 4-6 very useful specials can make up a lot of that.
If all a person wants is to kill things the fastest obviously pikeman isn't for them and they think it is worthless.

As others have echoed, Pikeman is probably the worst of the melee professions.. worst profession overall definitely belongs to either Carbineer, or Squad Leader.
