The LVA is not a master level weapon. In the CU non-master weapons will not be as good as a weapon that's certed at master.
It isn't a conversion bug.
The best way to deal with the issue would probably to have the devs convert existing LVAs into Kashyyykian lances, which are master level weapons, so we don't lose our good weapons.

Now the convert in to kasyyykian blades is a new and interesting approach to the problem. Not making my 30mil 1250 damage lva into a 650damage lva and having stupid vl that are 500damage currently into 1100damage post cu. Not a good approach at all.
