Thread: 975 max dmg lva = 600 plus max dmg on bria tc doh

basically what the header says my dot vibro lances were more max dmg then my 975 unpupped lva was go figure. I crashed before I could reallocate my skill points, still trying to get back in. I got a few more pikes at the house to see whats happening there... Also said I didnt have the certificate to wear ubese gloves go figure....lol
Highest dmg weapon I seen was a high 800's and it was a vibro lance so far, but I just wanted you all to get an idea whats its like, I am curious if a similar damage lva but with mods before cu would come out higher then what mine did with no mods....

No luck man, we're getting the shaft as are most people. Im just glad I didn't pay for that mind fire lance I showed you in MO awhile back.

Did you happen to notice where the LVA is currently certed?
We now have a pretty mediocre weapon that's actually certed to commandos!
On the upside however my 202-742 VL converted to 509-1018

you dont think its pretty lame that we have to have 3 boxes in commando to use a lva look at the weapon it sure dont look much different then a lance to me

This has to be a bug, because the Devs said that if you had one of the nicest weapons before the CU, you will have one of the nicest weapons after the CU.

Yeah, one of the nicest, but still somewhat downgraded to "balance it out"

Yea, but if my 400 max damage VL converts higher than my 1180 max LVA... that would contradict what the devs said

That LVA is still a nice weapon, nice that is when compared to other LVAs.
The LVA is now a lower certed weapon and can't be considered a master pikeman weapon any more. The stats on the LVA post CU will probably never reach those of the VL, the NS Energy Lance & the new Kashyyykian lance.
IMO that's one of the biggest problems with the CU. Instead of a system where every weapon (other than the most basic weapons) has a place and there are tactical reasons to use them we're looking at a system where the weapons certed at master are superior to all lower level weapons. Your choice of weapons is now pretty much the highest level weapon you have.

and this makes their whole point of making everyone look different carrying different weapons redundant.

Wonder whats gunna happen to my pike. If they nerf it to under or even with crafted value, I'm going to be SERIOUSLY upset.

I feel the pain already...my 1200 damage LVA sounds like it will now be poo poo! Looks like I will remove the ADK once CU is active.

Per the current conversion, most you'll see out of it is 660
O and youll need commando to wield it.

This alone may cause people to leave the game...
The devs LIED about this issue, lets say someone has a 2k max LVA and it gets nerfed to 900 max, and another guy has a 700 max VL, and it goes to 1.1k or so...that directly contradicts what the devs originally posted about weapon stats. Not just that... I had no interest in going commando... and I will never be a commando, but a pikeman, and I don't wanna pick up a whole other proffession to use a pike that's gonna get nerfed to all hell
