Thread: Pikeman Weapon conversion in the CU!

Has anyone on Bria or one of the other test servers converted an LVA or VL yet? I was reading the swordsman forums and they seem to be capping dmg for weapons. A 695max dmg powerhammer converts to 1064max dmg, not bad! At the same time an 822 max dmg powerhammers converts to 1068! It appears they are nerfing uber weapons so everyone has a similar weapon, which is pretty lame. Anyone tried a pikeman weapon conversion yet?

900 max LVA converted to 600 max
400 max NSEL converted to ~990 max.
have a friend with a 1k max vibro axe (2h weapon) that converted to worse than his 600 max power hammer....tehy need to change the way that they are capping damages.

Bet my exceptional lance converts well. With 1022 max dmg, I bet it goes to around 1500 max

At this point, they have a few choices they could do to not piss people off. A: Give us cash for how much our pikes are worth before cu (ie) 20mil-30mil B: Dont change the damage on lva's. Its not that hard...

Ummon I wouldn't count on it, they have added a cap to dmg for all weapons. For example a 695 max dmg hammer converts to 1064 max, not bad for a medicre hammer.... However an 822 max hammer now converts to 1068!!!I would suspect that there is a cap for your weapon as well and wouldn't be surprised if it goes down in dmg instead of up.
Its lame, all these people that have worked, often for months to loot or get an uber weapon made are now going to get screwed. Just imagine being the guy with the 5600 dmg hammer that will be converted to 1100 dmg! This is going to really piss off all the vetrans and others with uber weapons.
I think I am going to start a post where we will pick a date and time we think this game is going to collapse and bet on it. Sure there will be some noobs from the movie wanting to start but how long will they play a game that the devs themselves have admitted ---> The CU will be released with ROW, however it will take several months after the release to finish the upgrade and will need to be fixed and upgraded for several months in order to get itto a level that is acceptable.
In short.... were screwed.
