In the CU my LVA is now worth jack. What happened to uber weapons stay uber? This level 79 will never win against a level 80 blows.

I've made a post on it and done about as much as I can do on the subject. Please post in the CU conversion threads about it, AviStetto monitors those and can bring about a change better than anyone. But I can't do much more but post

my lva that was 300max lower then urs is now jus 20max lower.......

did you think that it could be lower damage but still way uber? i havnt seen anything in the TC where its been over 1000 damage. it will still be uber, there changing everything for the better. its hard for me to explain, but its goign to be as uber as it was but not going to be over 1k damage supposedly. someone with a 400 dmg pistol could go down to 200 i dont know. thats what i read a while back....

That prob still is uber for an LVA. You have to remeber that they are lowering everything.

If that was the the case, no one would be complaining with pikes. If everything was getting downgraded oh well ours are 750 and theres are 400, we still win. But the fact of the matter is that The lva's are getting downgraded and vibro lances are gettin upped. Say right now you have a 500 damage vl and a 1250 lva, after the cu the 1250 damage lva will be about 700, after the cu the vl that was 500 will be about 1000 damage. Its not balanced. Explenation according to the makers: The vl should be a higher damage because it is the last certification.
Well if that is the case just switch the certification or replace our lva's with vl's to make it fair! There are so many explenations! even, get this... dont change the weapon damages

I posted this in my thread a few mins ago, they are capping weapons and unless they change the formula for weapon conversions there will be no more uber weapons. According to some comments made they are aiming for a so called lvl playing field, everyone will have a weapon within 100 dmg of everyone elses.There is an example I listed in this post below...
Ummon I wouldn't count on it, they have added a cap to dmg for all weapons. For example a 695 max dmg hammer converts to 1064 max, not bad for a medicre hammer.... However an 822 max hammer now converts to 1068!!!I would suspect that there is a cap for your weapon as well and wouldn't be surprised if it goes down in dmg instead of up.
Its lame, all these people that have worked, often for months to loot or get an uber weapon made are now going to get screwed. Just imagine being the guy with the 5600 dmg hammer that will be converted to 1100 dmg! This is going to really piss off all the vetrans and others with uber weapons.
I think I am going to start a post where we will pick a date and time we think this game is going to collapse and bet on it. Sure there will be some noobs from the movie wanting to start but how long will they play a game that the devs themselves have admitted ---> The CU will be released with ROW, however it will take several months after the release to finish the upgrade and will need to be fixed and upgraded for several months in order to get itto a level that is acceptable.
In short.... were screwed.

Well my VL with a dot turned out to be 1k. and it was only worth 100k

ya it is going to make a few people with legendary weapons mad but it is going to make thousands of us happy to notbe getting 2 hit killed and kill stealed by a few way to over powered weapons which now don't decay
