Thread: so the old pike animations now or what?

In the recent tc-live thing said that they taking back the old pike animations that made me really happy. When i look in the paych notes now its not there? So they skipped the pikeanimations once agine or what?

The pike animations were changed. A lot of the old animations are now back. Some might be on skills for other profs (tk, sword, fencer) so you might not see all of the ones you wanted associated with pikeman-only moves.

Has anyone compiled a short list yet of which moves trigger which animations and with which weapons?


In my limited testing yesterday I didn't notice anything that made me go ooh and ahh, even using some TK moves.


As far as I know - nobody has located the old Area2 animation yet either - which every pikeshim knows - is what we really want!

Area2's animation went to Power Attack from Swordsman.

Hit3's animation went to Sword Flurry.

Sweep1's animation went to Sweep Attack (I loved Sweep1 pre CU )

Sweep2 went to Impale

Actionhit1 (I think) went to Headhit

Stun2 (strike, stab, PUNCH!) went to Dizzy hit


Critical Strike just does one of the Leghit animations though. Odd. I hope its a bug. It's not even one of the GOOD leg hit animations.

The Stun Animation also wen't to Armour Break. I noticed that PolearmHit Three went to a double-bladed Lightsaber move (which my jedi friend took great pleasure in showing me she'd stole our animation :robotsad

Yeah they get a bunch of our animations.. most of them we get too though. AsI said, the old Hit3 got assigned to Sword Flurry if you're using a Pike.


Pikeman can still look pretty sexy I think
