Thread: Quick question from a non melee guy.

Swordsman has the strongest specials for the most part. The only melee special that comes close is pikeman impale at 3.6x multiplier.
Using specials from different professions works just fine. Better than fine really. I use my Knuckles of the Katarn (Master TK req weapon) all the time now (my PH sucks 
), and only ever use swordsman attacks. I even get the old unarmedhit3 animation using power attack.

Are there any stun/daze state attacks from the different proffesions that you can link together?

Constantly. My main attacks as a Pikeman are Improved Critical Strike, Improved Impale, and Improved Power attack. Critical and Power are both from Swordsman. They work insanely well. I also use Armor break, Sword Flurry, and Headhit from Swordsman constantly.. occasionally Dizzy Hit from TKA.
Its exactly the same situation as it is for (for instance) a BH/Rifleman.. you can use Eye Shot orCritical Shot with a T21, and in fact I'm sure that would work great due to the higher damage of a T21.

same here as what Iridescence said...I use more specials from other profs than my own. I use my pike, but I built my template to have plenty of moves/states from the other professions.

I'm a rifleman so I don't no anything about melee. So here goes me question.
Have any of you guys experimented with cross profession abilites.
That is useing a Pikeman special and Swordman special while using a sword.
How are the results?
