Once they fix it, Pvp will change alot for pikemen and melee in general.
We will sudenlly become a most have again, or at least 0004, like back in the day of people getting 4000 to apply dots.

Fencer Ability: Binding Strike
Description: This ranged (?!) attack reduces an opponent's Action regeneration rate.
Pikeman Ability: Stunning Blow
Description: This melee attack does minimal damage but has the chance to stun an opponent preventing them from regenerating ability points for a short period of time.
Whatever they mean by ability points I doubt it's Action.. If stun indeed would totaly prevent someone from regenerating Action PvP would turn into stun wars, seeing who could keep the opponent stunned and run them out of action first. Then they're just a sitting duck not even able to do basic attacks.
Of course most elite combat professions have Stun Recovery to prevent that, but it would probably still end in Stun / Recovery / Stun / Recovery ..... only way I see stun totaly preventing Action regen is when they nerf it's duration greatly.

any word on them fixing stun..its suppose to either slow or stop action regen..or is it "working as intended"
only asked u cause couldnt think of a better forum to ask it on

Stun is supposed to stop action regen.

awsome response time... any idea if they plan to fix this soon, or will it be a back burner thing?

I would assume "ability points" hints that its both action AND mind... And yes I agree, totally freezing the regen of a stat would be extremely, extremely powerful. But then, if you think about it so is a ranged ability that cannot be countered or broken and freezes a player in place for 10-40 seconds.

Agreed, its not too powerful. Just look at some of the ranged builds. They can KD then startle you and root you and then they walk up and DB. No, stun would not be overpowered if it stoped action and mind regen. Those BH would still be able to get off all thier required shots to kill someone and have some action left over (I think).

STUN should negate burst run and lower terrain neg. Stunned is stunned.
In PvP, ranged professions just keep running from melee and keeping their distance...their is no move that helps our profession.
Ranged has movement with root and Jedi have speed run. Where is our trip-up or leg snare?
